Not what I expected from GE

We recently had a new home built and upgraded the kitchen appliances to the "Gourmet Kitchen" - which included the dishwasher. As a past GE owner I have always had good luck with the quality. This is not the case with the dishwasher. We have tried different detergents, loading it differently, cleaning the filters, etc - the dishes do not always get clean - it's hit and miss. I see that this machine is no longer manufactured - wise choice on GE's part. We have a service visit scheduled on 9/17 (after trying everything for 6 months) - we'd like to have it replaced with a better designed machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quite, gets dishes clean but takes a long time.

This dishwasher is very quiet and does get the dishes clean when the soap is released. I did not expect it to take hours to run one cycle. We are also having problems with the soap dispenser opening during the cycle.

Nice Dishwasher

Dishwasher is nice with lots of great features. Controls are hidden along the top so appearance is clean and sleek. Plenty of different setting to utilize to include a sanitize. Easy to use and large capacity. Only complaint in the drying cycle. Doesn't seem to get my dishes 100% dry. But this is a minor distractor.

Drying option not working properly. Vessels are not dried when you choose dry-in option

It's okay

I often have to run a second cycle because either my dishes do not come out very clean or the dishwasher tablet does not completely dissolve. Also, it does not completely dry my utensils.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
