I had this installed approximately three months ago, and so far I have been quite happy with it. My dishes have never been cleaner and it is much quieter than my old machine.

I would NEVER recommend this model. I have had two GE Profile dishwashers and was pleased with them. This dishwasher was in a new house we purchased and I can honestly say it's the worst dishwasher I've ever owned.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like the dishawasher especially the way the silverware basket is placed for convenience but it doesn't get the silverwares cleaned.. And it is very quiet..

This unit has several problems. First the cleaning is very erratic and we have to clean all the silverware off when we take it out the unit to make sure it is clean. We must use heat dry or everything is soaking wet when we open the door. The Soap does not alway fully dispense for some reason. We have used GE dishwashers for 30 years but this is the worst. I guess you have dumb them down far enough.

Not as good as I was hoping

I bought this dishwasher a little over 3 months ago as part of my kitchen remodel. After 3 months of using it, the container where you're supposed to put the detergent doesn't always open during a wash, resulting in dishes not being cleaned at all. I now try to leave the little top door slightly open, not clicked all the way, so it opens and releases the detergent into the dishwasher. Cutlery doesn't always come clean regardless if the detergent is released or not. Overall definitely not the best dishwasher I've ever known.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am very happy with the dishwasher. One of the features I sought in my purchase was quiet operation and I have been more than pleased with how quiet the dishwasher is. The one slight disappointment I have is that while the bottom rack can hold 16 place settings, it isn't so conducive to holding pots and pans. We work around it so it is not a huge drawback. My happiness with the quietness (especially for the price I paid) more than overcomes my loading challenges.
