it does not clean or dry

we have had the unit for five months. I does not clean, when you open the unit you see the liquid soap or the cube inside the unit unused. it does not dry and it also take an eternity to clean. This unit was part of an upgrade for our new house. do not get it

Washer looks great, but even with a light load, the cycle must be run more than once. Gel does not work, and pods sometimes do not dissolve. The heated dry has never worked for me

Relatively quiet and much better than previous dishwashers we've had. Tub was a little smaller than I expected, but worth it for the performance

Great Dish Washer

This dishwasher replaced my old damaged dishwasher which was installed as a "deluxe" item in my newly built house. My new GE dishwasher is better in every way including ease of loading and wash options. I am very pleased with its performance.

The one thing I do not like is the silverware plastic piece to separate the knives, forks and spoons. My silverware set has handles that are too fat to fit the silverware, so it is not very helpful for me. The machine works well, and the dishes seem to clean well, not a lot of "re-do's"

Portions of the wash cycle are noisy. On a couple of occasions the soap dish did not empty completely.
