Drying Inadequate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher does a poor job drying the dishes. The utensil trays get in the say of pulling the racks out. The low noise output is very nice however.

we like the stainless steel interior and the silverware holders

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, we have really enjoyed using the washer. It cleans really well, is quiet and as I stated before, the silverware containers are a special benefit to us.

This product has great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I am satisfied with this product. It has a modern appearance with an exterior finish that does not show finger prints or smudges like others. It is VERY VERY quiet. In fact, you have to listen closely just to hear it. It holds almost anything you need to wash and has a ton of features including the ability to wash only the top or bottom racks (or both).
There are a few disadvantages though....
The soap dispenser doesn't always empty it's contents. Therefore, when you open the door, there is soap running down the door (using the liquid detergent OR the Cascade packs as recommended by GE). The silverware racks are a bit awkward as well. Since they are mounted on the front of the drawers, they cannot be overfilled or the door will not close. You also cannot put tall utensils in the silverware racks. They will prevent you from being able to close the door AND/OR prevent the soap dispenser from opening.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cleans dishes.... does what it's supposed to do
on April 25, 2013

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher does a fine job cleaning dishes. Love the little tune to let me know the cycle is finished. I wish the tynes in the bottom rack were adjustable for width spacing (not just remove completely or chang the direction of the dishes). I'd like to move the tynes closer together to fit more small plates and saucers there (we have so much plastic from children's dishes that fill the top rack). The bottom rack seems a little flimsier than our previous model... Love the sensor for water.

Cleans well but somethings I don't like

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like it and it does clean well however, I don;t use the dry cycle and the dishes are so wet that I have to use a dish towel to dry them. Also the covers for the silverware ,I have removed them all just got in the way and also some of my silverware didn't fit in them. Also sometimes when you open the dishwasher after it has begun water runs onto the floor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only two things I have not been satisfied with. They are the bottem rack will not hold both of my plates side by side. I guess it is because my plates are squarel. Also I noticed if I put my knifes in the middle of the silverware basket the detergent doesn' t all come out so I just make sure I put them to the side . Otherwise it has been great.

Poor placement of soap dispenser
on May 4, 2013

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When loading the dishwasher, you have to be sure to leave the silverware holder empty in front of the soap dispenser. Otherwise, when the cycle is over, the soap is still dripping down the door and is all over in the silverware. As a result, another cycle has to be started.

Incredibly disappointing

Ive had GE Repair here 5 times already and I've only had the dishwasher for 2 months. I've never been so disappointed in a product. The soap wasn't clearing the dispenser and therefore the dishes weren't getting clean. When they installed the is washer, the plastic piece at the top of the door where the control panel is located was popping up on the right side because it was was broken. GE Service ordered me a new one, but the installer broke it again while tring to get it into place. He had to order another new part and come back with another service guy to install it. It took 2 guys to install this piece that will need to come off if something goes wrong with the control panel. Also the heated dry wasn't working properly. This is a problem GE admits to having with this dishwasher and they have a part that can "fix it". I'd say it makes the drying problem a little better, but it does not cure the problem. All of my silverwear is wet every time I run a wash cycle. This experience has jaded me from ever considering another GE appliance.
