Poor configurations, holds less.

Holds less than our previous sears model. There is always water on the door when opened. Quality seems less than our previous dishwasher. Over-all my wife is not very satisfied with it.

I would not recommend anyone buy this one.. Detergent dispenser does not always open...so goes through all cycles with detergent in it.

Looks great and is very quiet

This is a great looking dishwasher and runs supper quiet. We never can tell when it is running. Since we have been using this dishwasher, I have learned not to put things in front of the detergent dispenser, as it will cause it not to open. Also, when putting clean dishes away, with door open, there is always a little drip from the vent located on upper left corner. Other than these two issues, it is great. The dishes get nice and clean. I like the delay option to start wash later, especially since my home has an energy sentry which turns some power items off during peak energy use times.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointing performance

We went with a GE dishwasher due to the good reviews on the professional and grass roots level. However, either the soap door doesn't open or the washer wand doesn't operate about every 4th time we use the machine. Our distributor will not come out to service it either. We have followed instruction manual closely, but it appears this unit has the dreaded "intermittent failure" syndrome. When it does wash, it does a great job, but that isn't good enough (GE).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features/Poor performance

Bought dishwasher at the end of 2013. Nice looking with the hidden controls in stainless steel. Performance though is poor. Energy efficiency design does not clean or dry dishes adequately! Completely disappointed and wish we had the performance that our old G.E. dishwasher had.
