When it came time to replace my old dishwasher ,the first requirement was thorough cleaning with as little sound as possible without blowing the budget. My new GE dishwasher was perfect. I am so happy I chose this one. I also got the color I wanted. My old glassware looks new the first time I used it. Wonderful appliance!

This dishwasher was installed in my new home; the top facing - flimsy cheap plastic, keeps coming off - irritating the boss! (my spouse). It doesn't clean the dishes very well.. we're very disappointed in this brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was thrilled when I found this dishwasher with hidden controls, and silverware trays on the outside of the drawers. But unfortunately, I've been fairly disappointed in it's cleaning power since day 1. My dishes never appear completely clean; and the silverware typically has smudges or leftover food. I've started only using the highest cycle, which wastes water and takes super long. On the plus side, it's very quiet. Overall, it's just an OK dishwasher... not any better than the contractor grade model that was in my house previously.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

replace all our kitchen appliances and are glad we decided to go with the G/E brand. Not a problem with any of the pieces.

I bought this dishwasher to replace a 12 year old one in a new home I purchased. I purchased it for the features it came with like the single level wash zone, auto sensing cleaning, and stainless steel interior. My only negative on the product is the drying cycle. There is still water within the dishwasher especially in the flatware racks when the complete washer cycle is done even though I select "Heated Drying". Overall, the dishes come out clean and ready for next use.

The dishwasher came with out newly built home. Sometimes I want to yank it out and put in something cheap that works.
