Just like my GE Profile that outlasted Hurricanes for 9 1/4 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model which replaces another GE which served us for 9+ years, has everything that my husband and I need, especially when we have lots of company and lots of dishes to do. It really CLEANS the dishes, it is very quiet, it can do top or bottom Loads individually, as well as really FULL loads, and the dishes, glasses and cutlery always shine. A great feature is that it is so simple to load and operate that our grandkids, visitors, and guests from foreign countries can set it up and program it with ease, so my husband and I can quality more time with all our guests.

So Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is amazingly quiet. We use to not be able to run the dishwasher when we were sleeping or watching tv/movie because it was so loud. With our new dishwasher, it is so quiet we have to strain our ears to even hear it.

Silverware baskets are a hassle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The silverware baskets are poorly designed. They are easy to load, but removing the clean utensils is very difficult. I always end up having to "dig" spoons out of the bottom of the baskets, because they fall down into the bottom.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very quiet dishwasher. First stainless appiliance -great look. Also, model has hidden controls an added bonus, which adds to the great look. Especially like having silverware baskets on both top and bottom racks. This model met my criteria : top name brand, middle price/grade, stainless. So far so good -last dishwasher died after 13 years plus, hoping for the same or better with this new GE dishwasher!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Looks Great but dosn't clean or dry well

have had the soap dispenser replaced a week later stopped working again. Dishes don't get clean or dry do to so little water being used during cycles.Silverware baskets are poorly designed if you put anything tall even butterknives in bottom basket soap packet will not come dispense

The most silent dishwasher I've ever owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're very happy with our purchase of this dishwasher. It's whisper quiet when running, and has left our dishes looking spotless so far. It's worked well even when it has a full load- In comparison our last dishwasher always left tiny food bits on the cups and silverware when fully loaded.
We also love the melodic chime it has when the wash is complete. It's just adorable! (And so much better than the harsh foghorn of the "all done" chime of the washer and dryer in our house).
The exterior looks beautiful as well, and visually it's nice to have the controls hidden on the top of the door even it does require a little more effort to reach them (have to open the door to start the wash) as opposed to controls on the front of the door.
The only thing I wish it had was an eco-wash option. Overall though we're very happy with our purchase and would highly recommend this dishwasher to other people.
