This is a heavy duty, well engineered clamp on keyboard tray. It weighs quite a bit and was delivered quickly. Anything but flimsy. Functions well and can work for a pretty thick desk (2 1/4”.) Has a visual impact, not an overly discreet appearance, but great if you like something sturdy and well put together. Easy assembly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Increased Productivity and Comfort

This clamp on desk mount is amazing. Since I'm able to type at an optimal position, I feel as if I get more work done and I'm able to type faster. Also, I love how much desk space this frees up. The only downside I see is that it's a big unit. I have a 48 inch wide desk standing desk and it sits on the desk fairly comfortably, however there's not much wiggle room.

Not great for thicker desks. Bubbling laminate

I reviewed this drawer not long after receiving it in Jan 2024 but am updating after having it for around 4 months.
My initial complaint was that although the clamps allow for desks up to 2.5" thick, the space between the bottom of a thick desk and top of the platform is so minimal you have to use very low profile keyboard or mouse if you want to close the drawer. I had a fairly tall mechanical keyboard and ergonomic mouse and both were too tall for the space between desk and platform to slide in and out.
I ended up using it at a different desk I only work at occasionally.
Now, however, at less than 5 months minimal use, the laminate surface has started developing large bubbles along front top of the platform. The actual mounting hardware is very heavy duty. but I'm overall disappointed with this product.

Sturdy, but not American made

The keyboard in and of itself works well and is easy to assemble; however, it is made in China. Not sure if I missed it or if it isn’t called out in the product description, but disappointed as I knew this was an American company and prefer to support locally made.

Disappointing For Desks Near 2.5"

I searched for a long time for a keyboards tray with clamps for a 2 !/4 inch thick desk so I was happy to find this one. However, once I had it put together I realized actually using it with a desk that thick was a disappointing outcome. Due to the overall design of the hardware, using it with a desk anywhere near 2.5" leaves so little room between the bottom of the desk and the top of the tray that I was lucky to fit my keyboard and mouse at all. Sliding the tray in and out, my mouse fits by a hair, and my keyboard only fits with the angle legs folded in, which is frustrating.
If Mount-it aligned the holes on the bottom of the tray to allow for flipping the rails around to mount between them instead of on top of them that would have allowed for almost another inch of clearance but it seems little thought went into the thick desk use,
I'd return it, but I am going to have to find a way to make this work with some kind of modifying.

Sturdy and fit perfect on my desk

My desk is too thick (4.2 cm) for most of the clamp-on keyboard tray available on the market, and I don't want to get into the power tools and drill holes on my pretty adjustable desk... so I had to shop around to find this.

Excellent Quality

Very sturdy! I bought this to improve my workspace at home, but also for my standing desk at work that has an inconvenient power bar where most keyboard drivers would attach. While it is "clamp-on", it looks inconspicuous because of the craftsmanship.
