No better than my CM350

So, I upgraded. The mats I bought for my CM350 won’t work with this, which is upsetting since they are extremely expensive. The mat that came with it won’t feed properly - my CM350 never had this issue. I use both, until my mat supply runs out for my CM350. I hope by then the DX has cheaper mats. I think the machine should come with more than one mat, or at least all three mats.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love that it has 251 preloaded designs and I really love that it's touchscreen! The machine is lightweight and very well made! It cuts perfectly and precisely! I love that I can make whatever my heart desires for my home and cute clothing for my children! This is a must have if you're looking to become a Creator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am comparing this scan n cut to my cricut. It does alot more than my cricut does, but on the other hand, it's a little more to learn. I can use the cricut for easier stuff, and use the scan n cut for the harder stuff. I like it that you can scan an image and cut it out. If you want to do more, definitely buy this one.

It's very easy to set up and has lots of pre designs already on it. You can look at all the designs on your phone! Simple steps to walk you through and it's just a magical machine! Highly recommend!!

Fun and innovative

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. It certainly lives up to the Brother name. I love that it has a built in screen and that i don't need another device hooked up to it in order to create projects. It takes a little bit of practice to learn to use it but is pretty simple thereafter. Made some appliques to put on balloons for a gender reveal so far.

Sophisticated cutting machine

The Brother Scan n Cut is a sophisticated machine. It is sleek and modern looking with a feminine touch. I experimented with the machine for about 2 hours after opening the box to try to get familiar with it. I’m still not sure what all can be done with it and I look forward to exploring all of its capabilities. I did on so the little projects in the book and made a small 3-d box with a crown on it. It resembles a ring box, but made from thick paper. It came out exactly as expected. So far, I have cut paper with the machine. I will be going to buy vinyl and transfer tape to see what all it is capable of. It doesn’t come with much in regards to the crafting supplies. You can download designs directly on the machine, but has to be done with a computer or flash drive. It would have been nice to connect it up to your cellphone directly to it to save outlines of pictures. I wish it printed not just cut. The machine feels very limited in that regard. Overall great machine, but still need more time, it’s a huge learning curve, and many materials to purchase to really be able to dig into all its capabilities.
