Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest review. Honestly I was disappointed with this product. I was so excited to get it, but once I pulled it out of the box it was very overwelming, and unless you have computer capabilities and time to watch videos to understand the product it just is overwelming. The accessories for this brand too are hard to find and expensive. I wish this came with more accessories, and more of a bigger info how to use book since not everyone has video watching capabilities.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. This Brother ScanNCut is wonderful! It is easy to set up and use. There are so many different projects you can do with this machine from making scrapbook cutouts to custom stickers, tshirt iron-on and so much more! I love the touchscreen feature and the fact that it has it's own internal memory for saving designs for future use. If you are into craft projects, I think you will love this machine as much as I do!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Video don't cut it for me

This product is so complicated that you really need a class to learn it. A class where when you're doing something wrong but no idea what, you will have someone there to give guidance.

ScanNCut not for the average crafter

The Brother Scan N Cut is not suitable for elderly crafters. There is too much reliance on Apps and online methodology. I tried to use it for a week and returned the product to Brother.

Why a card to activate wi fi

I would have gave it 5 stars but why do we need to buy a card to activate wi fi. It is all ready there. I didn't need to buy a card to activate the wi fi on my cell phone my lap top or any else. I know why to get more money.

love this machine, I do wish I could buy accessories on line. shopping online for accessories, I have trouble making sure I'm getting what I need. I also was surprised at how few designs are in the machine

I like the scan and cut but I am having trouble learning the machine I just wish there was an owners manual to walk you through what to do something that I can read while found whatever stew you have to do, some of the videos that are online go to fast for this grandma to do especially when my computer is in the front room and my scan and cut is in my craft room and by the time I get from the front room to the craft room I have forgotten what was done and how it was done. so a manual would be nice if you have hard coys please let me know how mush they are I will buy one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting a crafting machine for a long time to create tshirts, cards, make labels for my classroom...and anything else I wanted!! The Brother ScanNCut SDX85 Cutting Machine with scanner is so perfect for all of these things. It came with one piece of cardstock to create a box for practice and I was so impressed with it. It was very easy to set up and use. I cannot wait to make more things with my daughter!
I would recommend this to a friend!
