[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for the Pokémon fan!! Fun to build with easy to follow instructions. And I'm sure it will be a great collector's item in the future. It has great detail, and my son has had so much fun building and playing with Charizard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm helping my kiddo build it, but he loves it!! Very good quality and so cool. It's a bit hard for the younger kids, but plenty fun for the parents! I love building Legos, so this was definitely something I'm enjoying with my kids.

Favorite building sets!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love these building sets! Our son prefers these over any others because he loves Pokémon and the sets are just right for his skill level. Assembly is just right, though sometimes matching the pieces during the build to the way they are shown in the instructions is a little confusing. High praise for this set though!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The instructions were great and easy to follow. Biggest complaint was that the bags were not marked and we had to open them all rather than work on them a bag a time. Also some of the pieces were difficult to snap together and required help from an adult. Once together they stayed well and my boys have been able to "play" with them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a time consuming build but it was so fun with my son. This is exactly like the character color and all! This is fun its a great size to hold in your hand and play. The movable parts help to make this more fun to play with and the attack more realistic. The pieces fit nicely and the colors are bright and fun.

Once completed it was a nice size piece and looks great on his shelf! Once together it was also very durable and held together for easy display. Looks great once complete, very happy with it!

Nicely detailed & articulated figure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Mega Construx Pokemon Charizard arrived the week before Christmas so it was something fun for my grandson & I to do over the Christmas holidays. I thought it looked a bit overwhelming because the box indicated that there are 222 pieces! Everything came packaged in plastic bags but they are not numbered so we really had no idea where to start. The instructions show which pieces you need for each step & how they are assembled, but it’s hard to tell some of the pieces from others that look nearly identical. Also, the pieces are bagged randomly so that what you need to complete a step might come from 3 or more different bags. We ended up dumping out all of the pieces & trying to keep the “like” ones together, which really helped. It took us a couple of hours to put this together but in the end he is really happy with the completed figure. It seems to be a display-only piece because if you try to play with it or pose the articulated parts, something seems to always pop off. Overall, this is a great piece for a Pokemon fan & the finished product is nicely detailed, but younger kids will definitely need some adult help.

Realistic and fun

My 10 year old son loves building sets and Pokémon is a favorite too, so the combination of both in one toy was a great surprise. He hasn’t finished building it yet but he’s been working on it a little everyday he’s been home. I took a star away because some pieces are more difficult to get to stay together and I’ve had to help get those difficult parts snapped in. Once this is completed I know my son will be proud to put it on display. It’s definitely a great buy for builders and Pokémon lovers alike.
