Amazing attention to detail, beautiful Barbie!

We received the Pinkalicious Barbie Extra and we are so glad we did. We had a look at the other Barbies in the range and the Pinkalicious one was our favourite! I have 3 young daughters, who each loved her the same eventhough they are different ages.
First impressions of Barbie in her box, her face was slightly obscured by her pink fluffy coat but this did not dampen the girls' excitement when they saw her. The box seemed quite flashy and sparkly! Really conveyed that this was no ordinary Barbie. The fluffy pink coat and the white winged boots stood out the most. It took me quite a while to get Barbie out of the box, she was attached in quite a few places. To be honest, it seemed a bit much but I recognise the need to keep her looking perfect while on display in her box.
When she was finally out of her box, the thing that stood out the most was her hair! Was like no other hair we had seen before on a Barbie. It was wavy, pink and blonde and had 2 buns pinned to the top of her head. The girls were thrilled and said wow! In our opinion, the hair should have been more of a focus when she was in the box. We had no idea how amazing her hair was because it was hidden behind the pink fluffy coat! They loved the accessories she came with, a toy sweet, a pet pig (with detachable wings and unicorn horn). Barbie had hooped earrings and quite a few necklaces, also a gummy bear ring, which all really completed the particular look she has. She also came with sunglasses. The girls particularly liked that they could change up her look by simply taking her coat off or adding accessories.
Another important thing that we noticed was that unlike most of the other Barbies, she is fully articulated and has joints. This really added to the playability. The girls love playing with her, changing her look and making her interact with her pet!
The girls love her and it's definitely a positive response from them.
Overall, as a parent, I think she is a great Barbie and is definitely 'Extra' when compared with other Barbies. She is glamorous and shiny and has been picked over other Barbies consistently since we have had her. Great attention to detail with her accessories and her clothes, which all go together really well.

The coolest Barbie

I have 2 girls - ages 8 and 3. Both love this doll. My 8 year old thinks she's the "coolest Barbie" with her stylish outfit and pink crimped hair. My 3 year old loves the pet pig!

Kids thought she was super fashionable they especially loved her coat and accessories they had so much fun playing with her and introducing her to the rest of their barbie family

Fantastic New Barbie Extra Doll

I got this about a month ago and e kids wrr were straight into it desperate to have a shot. They love that she has fantastic long hair and lots of accessories. The only down side was lots of fastenings on her in the package and her hair was also tied down so it was full of knots by the time we got her off but that didn’t ruin anything for the kids.
I would recommend this to a friend!
