Hours of Play!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this just in time for Christmas and my 6 year old has been playing with it non-stop! He loves being able to change the cars appearance/customization and the instructions are easy to follow, even for him. They do not break apart easily, which is a feature I appreciate! He has dropped them a bunch and run them off a "cliff" (a couch) and they stay together, which is pretty much unheard of in a lego style toy. The only complaint is that the people are hard to attach to inside of cars and it you do have to take off the car tops to put them in/take them out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing product!

He takes huge pride in making original creations, racing them, crashing them, and then starting all over. They hold together really well and race just like regular Hot Wheels!

Better Than An Ordinary Hot Wheel Car!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These blocks are great and being Hot Wheel branded is a plus. They are very detailed to side view mirrors to hot rod mufflers. The blocks are even compatible with Lego brand blocks. Great product! My son is six years of age and loves this built of hot wheels!

Great imaginative toy

The set includes four cars and four drivers. It is a good value. The set comes with extra pieces to customize each car.

There are a lot of pieces included in this set, which is a plus, but be aware because they are small and easily lost. I like that this set adds an extra creative touch to play, and you then have cars that will last through many play times. That's my mom view on it all. My son's view was that this is a really cool toy that he likes to play with and he could create them how he likes.

Lots of chances for customization!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My two kids (age 5 and 7) both loved this set! They were both able to choose two cars each to build, so it was a great value. They started out by following the directions to build each car as shown, then had a lot of fun mixing and matching and racing the cars to see how they could make them faster (which turned into a great science lesson with aerodymanics tests!). The almost 8 year old was able to follow the directions with no problems, but the just turned 5 year old needed a little bit of grown-up help, since sometimes the small pieces could be difficult to place correctly with little fingers, or remove. The included tool is helpful for that, but needs a little practice to learn how to use it. I liked that the box could be turned into a ramp, too. The kit includes lots of extra little pieces to customize your cars, so there is a lot of repeat play value. I do wish that some reusable bags for storage were included, however, because it's very easy to lose the small parts. Overall, this is a really fun kit for a family to build and play with together!
