Perfect for me

I use this hub for charging and projecting to my tv. It has worked flawlessly so far. However, I have not needed to use any of the other inputs on the hub. This is the second device that I have purchased for this purpose. This one was almost double the cost but I really needed this feature and it works great for me.

Doesn’t charge

The iPad won’t charge through the dock, which makes it pretty inconvenient for anything more than a quick photo download. It doesn’t allow me to dock at my desk..,for more than a few hours, anyway.

Audio Jack Not Supported in Skype

A great dock, but extremely disappointed that the main reason I bought it doesn’t function. As a podcaster I record my guest audio by outputting my iPad’s Skype call to an external recorder over an audio wire. Skype on iOS doesn’t recognize the HyperDrive and will need to find a different solution to get audio out of my iPad. Really wish there was a warning on the product page about this. Otherwise great hardware and functionality.

The HyperDrive Hub is really amazing. It allows you to use your iPad Pro just like it was a laptop computer. Just pick a case that will allow you to keep the HyperDrive attached while using.
