Good fit

Fits my iPad Pro perfectly, even attached to the magic keyboard.
So far I have only used it for the memory card reader but works great for that purpose.

Does NOT do 4k HDR, Audio jack is unusable
on June 17, 2021

After being shipped a replacement to double-check, and checking three different cables that are guaranteed to work for 4k HDR, I can confirm that this does NOT support that. In addition, the audio jack is not usable, because there is a loud hissing noise. (This does not occur with Apple's own headphone adapter. I had high hopes, and sadly I'm outside of the return period, but this will ONLY work to convert USB-C to USB-A, and as a card reader. That's it.

With fingers trembling with excitement,

With fingers trembling with excitement, I fitted my HyperDrive 6-in-1 USB-C hub to my brand new iPad Pro 12.9” without any screen protector. I then plugged in a thumb drive (USB-A) to the hub. Nothing. Swapped it with another drive (USB-C). Nada. Rummaging the rest of the box, I swapped out the thin edge grip thingamajig (for use without a screen protector) for the one with the thicker slot — that worked like a charm. Added a hard glass screen protector and the wider slot was still able to accommodate the screen protector. My suggestion for the hub is to have a stronger attraction/grip on the iPad USB-C port, even though I know the quick detaching may be to provide a MagSafe-like safety feature. And perhaps some retooling for the edge grip for use without screen protectors. Or perhaps having only a single width slot but have shims with adhesive strips that can be added or removed to suit screen protectors of different thicknesses.

Everything works well except the usb-c charging port does not charge my iPad Pro at all.

I have had this for around a year now and it works fine, but it does not charge my iPad at all!. It might be an issue with the first batches that were sent out upon release.
