handy hub for iPad Air 4

I haven’t used every port on this hub, but so far I’m impressed. I especially like the bits included to allow attaching the hub to my iPad Air 4 with a protective case, though the normal connection is sleeker. The HyperDrive 6-in-1 will come in handy for all sorts of things!

I love this thing! I lost my original, and ordered a replacement immediately. I use it to work with files on SD cards and USB thumb drives on my iPad Pro, as well as to charge my iPad Pro while using a pair of wired headphones. Great product!

Disappointed

Was pumped to add more ports to my new iPad for use in audio video production and performance. Didn’t do enough research beforehand (my fault) and find that the unit will not pass IDAM between my Mac and the iPad. With this functionality the unit would get a 5/5 but for my application it is basically an extremely overpriced SD card reader. This is not the manufacturers fault, but some clear, up front communications about device limitations would have made my purchase experience better. -1 point for device functionality limitations and -1 point for not clearly describing those limitations in the marketing materials. 3/5 overall.

Not what I expected.

I want to love this product but I can only say it's okay. It's a good design but the USB-C male-end doesn't sit firmly in my iPad Pro 11" (2020).
I do have a screen protector; a basic one but even with the piece for screen protectors on the unit, it doesn't rest firmly in the port and will become disconnected at the slightest touch of the iPad itself and other times, on its own.
It also doesn't work well with a case. I have to remove the folio case completely just to get this on. A basic poly+felt folio at that. Not a leather one which is naturally thicker or fall protecting case which is bigger.
So, I am unsure if it's just my specific unit that's wonky or if they are all like this but it doesn't work consistently on my iPad Pro.
Again, the product design is nice. It looks nice, it's lightweight, it's minimal but it just doesn't work consistently for me. So I can't love it, it's only okay.

Flawed product. Will not copy photos off of a 128 gb SDXC card where the Anker hub does it flawlessly. Don’t waste your money on this product.

Functions but could be more secure

It sits on the iPad very flimsy. I feel like over time it will get damaged and more flimsy. There has to be a better way to secure to the iPad.
The Cable option is not long enough.
It gets very hot very quickly.

Hyper drive for iPad Pro 11”

I bought the hyperdrive through A kick starter type early by thing I don’t remember what it was called anyway I waited a few months and it was finally delivered it’s been working great this whole time I don’t know what I would do without it but at this point the 3.5 headphone jack has now stopped working I’ve checked my cable and it works with other things I’ve also checked my iPad and it works with everything. The hyperdrive is in great condition it is definitely the Jack that has stopped working it works if you move the cable but then stops and I tried the cable in other applications and move the cable and it works perfectly.

High quality hub

I've not tried very many HUBs, but this one does everything it claims to do. I used it to transfer 128gb worth of photos between external HD, and my memory card. Have not tried the HDMI, but do not anticipate any issues. It has a premium feel and I'm very happy with it so far.
