Ideal for iPad Pro

The hub is very neat and matches the iPad Pro perfectly. I haven’t tried to use all the ports at once, as some have (I can’t think why I would!) but everything works perfectly adding to the functionality of the iPad. It fits securely and the fact that you can remove it means the iPad can return to it’s ‘normal’ state instantly. Some have asked why the iPad doesn’t have all the ports itself, but that would add to complexity and provide more chances for crud to get into the device. This is a great addition and removes the need for various dongles. I won’t use some of the ports - micro SD (my cameras don’t use them), or the headphone port (some will need this, some will refuse to move on, but I’m wireless on this). My only concern is that leaving the hub connected may Darin power from the iPad. If there was an on/off switch it would be useful, but that would add more complexity. Overall I’m very happy with the hub.

The build quality on this hub is high. It looks nice, fits well on the device, comes with everything you need to set it up for multiple forms of use, and works well with iOS. I really appreciate the attention to detail on making it the same color as the iPad so it looks like something Apple made and part of the device rather than a clunky 3rd party add-on. Well done!

I have used it with the audio, with the audio while charging, HDMI connection to my Samsung TV and transferring photos to the iPad using the USB connection; all functioned perfectly. I recommend the HyperDrive 6-in-1 USB-C Hub, a great addition for the iPad Pro 2018.

Best accessory to my iPad Pro 2018

It’s compact, functional, stylish, without annoying cables as it attach directly to my iPad Pro. It fits perfectly to iPad Pro that wearing a thin case (SwitchEasy CoverBuddy).
I’ve also bought the 9-in-1 hub for Hyperdrive, but this one is way better option if you are using iPad Pro. Wonderful quality and design. I highly recommend this!

The device does not sit

The device does not sit securely in the Usb c female receiver.
As a result it will start to come out when my headphones are connected. I had to make a support to hold it securely in place. I have only checked that funtionality of the device so far.
