Works ok, but I needs another USB C port

I expected this to have more than one USB C port, but it only has one to replace the one it takes up. A second one would make it much more useful with accessories.

Ethernet works!

So many reviews for USB/ethernet thunderbolt dongles point out that the ethernet port doesn't work at or requires a Realtek driver. This one worked out of the box with my 2018 15" macbook pro, as did the USB ports. It's also a nice looking device that exudes quality and matches Apple's "Space Grey."

Works well with larpte 2018 iPad Pro

I bought this to provide connectivity to my new iPad Pro and it does exactly that. HDMI and USB 3 ports just work. The one that surprised me was the Ethernet port: plug it in and it just works!

I pre-ordered this product and was excited to give it a try. After using it, I realise the connector is loose and it gets disconnected even with the slightest touch. I also ran Internet speed tests. The results were mind-bothering. It showed that WiFi is faster than Ethernet!?
For functionality, I give it 1 star as it is difficult to work with.

Great design....execution needs work

The design of the Adapter is top notch. And every port works as expected except the usb-c display port. I will update this review if resolved. As of right now I’m working with customer service with the two configurations of new MacBook pros I have and a selection of cable to get it sorted out. If it’s just the cable I need to change I will rate this product 5 stars.as it stands it’s a great product but the one function I need is the UAB-c to display port so I give it 3 stars.

Great, if you don't touch it.

Works great, as long as you don't touch it or move things around. I keep my cables plugged into it because trying to take out a cable or even just moving it disconnects the whole hub 95% of the time.
I can't plug in my charger and Apple Cinema Display 30 into the hub at the same time (the display only works with the 40Gbps port for some reason) but I just plug the charger into a different port. I've only had it for a week or two but so far so good!

Perfect for the home office!

This is a companion hub to my 7-in-1 for my MacBook Pro. With increased traffic on my home WiFi, I wanted to connect directly to my router and this hub is perfect for that task as well as providing an HDMI connection to an external monitor. It works great but it does get a bit warm with all-day use.
