Using it for travel photo

Great idea but issue with Network card.

We kept running into performance issues while doing Zoom streaming with Atem mixer and USB sound mixer when we were using other USB hub on the MacBook Pro. It is also important for us to be cabled for Internet stability. So I decided to give this product a try. We did not run into any video issues last time, the only but major issue is were not able to use the network card, no way would Apple detect it, we've tried all solutions we could find. So, we had to plug a second single USB network card which the Mac recognized immediately.

Consistent operation, doesn’t suffer from display wake issues like cheaper brands

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a professional Mac consultant, I get to test a ton of USB C hubs. Once Apple Silicon laptops started shipping, we started seeing all sorts of display/wake issues related to USB C hubs. This hub though has been bulletproof. I continue to recommend it to clients. If I could change anything about it, I’d swap 2 of the USB-A ports for USB-C, move the PD-in port to a slightly less awkward position, and add SD card slots. But all in all, it makes a great travel hub that I know will always work without hiccups.

Probably the only adaptive out

It looks, fits, and performs as one would expect of the quality hub that it is. It adds the ports that I needed for my MacBook Air 2020. I am pleased with this transaction.
