Best LG earbuds yet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these two months ago, and love them. I use them on a daily basis for calls, music, listening to podcasts, both when out and about as well as when I'm home. They were simple to setup and work flawlessly with my phone. They are extremely comfortable, lightweight, and sound great.
I will point out that they work and sound the best when using the LG Tone Free app.
The only negative came when using the earbuds with Windows 10. They work fine for audio and video calls, voice and mic worked great. Music was a different story. Sound quality was mediocre when used from Windows. It was unclear if Windows overrode my sound profile, or if the earbuds are dependent on the LG Tone Free app to load the audio profile. I usually use my over ear headphones when on my computer, so this generally isn't an issue, but would be a nice update for the next version of these earbuds. Not sure if this means storing the default audio profile on the device, or creating an LG Tone Free app for Windows 10.

Comfortable and Well Made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, these are light, comfortable and well made buds. All I care about when I buy a new set of headphones are 1. wearing comfort 2. great sound 3. features The LG Tone free HBS-FN6 delivered all of the above and even more.
Pairing with my LG V60 was a breeze, just open the charging case and a box pops up asking you whether you want to add these to your Bluetooth devices. It also prompted me to download the companion app called Tone Free which I highly recommend getting from the Google Play Store. It will help you update your buds to the latest firmware as well as had a ton of useful features that will help you customize your buds.
Another cool feature which LG added and it differentiates it from all other buds is a Ultra Violet(UV) nano tech in your case. When you place your LG earbuds in the case and connect it via USB-C cable, the UV magic goes into effect and it takes about 10 minutes to disinfect your buds. I think this is a pretty useful feature especially in the times like these.
Now to the best part - the sound. I found these to be pretty good sounding earbuds, especially if you enjoy nice jazz or some soft rock. I found these earbuds do well with lows and highs, the bass is just right and won't hurt your hearing. One recommendation I would suggest is make sure to choose the right fit for your ears and LG supplies the necessary soft ear gels for all sizes.
I also found the wireless charging case to be quite good in size and it has a nice feel to it too. No need to plug in cords, just place this case on a wireless charging pad and you are set. Thanks to its fast charging feature, only 5 minutes of charge will serve you 60 min of playtime! These buds are also great for taking calls thanks to its Dual Microphones and the buds are perfect for workout too, as the buds are IPX4 Water and Sweat resistant.
All in all, these are some great earbuds that will replace my current wireless buds I have been using for a while.

LG Tone Free (Black buds)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say I enjoyed using my Bluetooth Ear buds. They are a change from the color I see too often. The sound quality is clear and fits comfortably in my ears. I like the idea of the blue light being used to keep the buds clean and the led on the outside that indicates how much charge that remains is neat. I really like that they work still if you are using only 1 instead of forcing you to use both. I initially thought you needed to use both for them to play.

Feature Packed Wireless Earphones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG TONE HBS-FN6 Wireless Ear Buds is LG’s premium line of headphones for 2020. I was really intrigued and wanted to test these new headphones out for a few days to explore all the features. When I opened the packaging and opened the charging case, the headphones instantly tried pairing with my phone. Connecting the headphones was pretty seamless. I would recommend installing the LG Tone Free app before using the headphones. Inside the app, there are different customizable options: Ambient sound, equalizer settings and touch control editable options. This is a good place to perform software updates as well.
Now let’s get into my overall opinion of the LG HBS-FN6 after using them for a week. I’ll start with points that I liked the most. The headphones are lightweight and fit really well in my ears. I had no ear fatigue and I didn’t have a fear of them falling out during the day. The battery life was pretty solid when working. I averaged about 5 to 5-1/2 hours before having to recharge them. I really like having a case that allows wireless charging also. This is my favorite feature of all.
I like the overall sound of the earbuds. I prefer using the built-in equalizer settings of my music app other than the included settings within the Tone Free app. I am able to get a crisper sound profile from the buds this way. Another great feature is the UV-light inside the charging case that kills bacteria. This feature is only available while charging with the included USB-C wire. This is especially useful when attempting to limit germs and bacteria. With all the available features these wireless earbuds have to offer, I recommend LG's wireless headphones.

Comfortable Buds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been trying these earbuds out for a few days now and I am not only impressed with how comfortable they are (even after long periods of time) for but I am truly impressed with the UVnano charging case that kills germs on the earbuds. (Super unique!) The sound quality is good and clear and the battery life has been great as well. I did notice though that when you resume the music after pausing, there is a slight delay on the music coming back. Other than that, it is super convenient having multiple tap commands. In addition to that, of course there is an app that you can download to use with the earbuds. The app has several equalizer presets and you can also customize presets as well. The call quality on the earbuds were impressive as well. The call itself was clear and I did not experience any lag whatsoever. These are such an upgrade from my old earbuds and I have already recommended them to my friends and family. In fact, my wife wants them now!

I got this for my v60 and due to me being sort of an audiophile I was blown away with how well these sounds. I mostly listen to pop and RnB, and the vocals and bass lines are so clear and pure. I'm amazed with the product and battery life too. Totally worth every penny.

LG Tone Free Earphones with UV Light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my new LG True Wireless HBS-FN6 black earphones recently and was surprised how durable they looked when I opened the box. I knew they were a different type of design with lightweight materials and rubber ear tips for comfort and to easily clean in the UV case. The UV nano charging case was a great feature to promote killing bacteria due to the current focus on the Covid-19 issue. It is nice to know you have a pair of earphones to use that are pretty much free from regular bacteria.
The charging case was nice and compact which was magnetized to help guide the earphones into their correct slot for charging. I liked the sturdy feel of the case and being able to tell from the color displayed on the case how far along the charging was at any particular time.
I decided to use the earphones with various devices and paired them with my phones, laptop, tablet, and television. It was great to see how easy the pairing process was for each item. I also liked the fact that the earphones could hold a charge up to almost 6 hours per the manufacturer.
The sound that was produced in the earphones was a nice clear and crisp sound. I loved listening to various types of music through the LG earphones. I also liked trying out the ambient sound feature which you can activate by simply tapping one of your earphones. The unit will give you a verbal alert that the ambient sound is turned on or is turned off depending on your scenario.
I would highly recommend the affordable and high-quality LG earphones to my friends, family, and coworkers.
