Smart?

I purchased this oven nearly a year ago. I am 5' tall and love the side opening doors. However the fact the cooling fan runs for extended periods of time after cooking is a MAJOR irritant. I just roasted cashews at 350 for 9 minutes. Afterwards I had to listen to the cooling fan blow warm air into my kitchen for 55 minutes. I am told this is necessary due to the components that make this a "smart" oven. Personally I'd gladly give up the "smart" features (which I rarely use) and have a "dumb" oven. If a "dumb" oven would turn off when I press "off", seems to me it would be pretty "smart"!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

BUYER BEWARE! This is the worst product I’ve ever purchased. It’s brand new and has caught on fire twice. Every time I use it it smokes for no reason. Please do not buy this product I bought it trying to buy all American products for my house the worst purchase I’ve ever made.

Spyware

Bought this along with a number of other GE Profile kitchen appliances. Requires wifi connection opening you up to having your network hacked and all your information leaked online. I refuse to have any appliance that is glorified spyware in my home. Will be cancelling the order.

This oven was on back order, so I went without an oven for two months, but it was definitely worth the wait. I love the left hand opening. It bakes beautifully, and looks great!
