Would be good if the door would shut

We were really excited about this new oven. The first thing we did was a roast chicken…put it in, the oven told me when it was done. Fantastic. Next cookies. Disaster. The oven door would not stay shut and would literally turn off. I couldn’t figure out the problem until my husband found that the door wouldn’t stay shut. We’ve called for service and the new hinges are not available. It’s been about 6 weeks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

With that being said, we are so sorry that the parts you need to resolve this issue are out of stock and that you have been waiting approximately 6 weeks. We would recommend calling and speaking with our Parts Store directly to see if they can provide you with an ETA of when the parts might be available. Safety Issue

My Wall oven touchscreen stopped working within the first year. We have the oven on and running the timer goes off and the screen is blank and we have no way of turning the unit off and have to shut off on our electrical panel.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Baking never looked so good

Amazing features and beautiful looking. Only complaint is the app and connecting to Wi-Fi. Eventually figured that it didn’t like the lengthy Wi-Fi network name. Simplified the name and, voila!

Has lots of features but most are useless

This oven has lots of things you can do with it—except most of them I’d never use, like some “precision cooking” of certain foods most of which I’d never cook: The fact you can’t select your own temperature for the oven makes NO sense. You can only select from their menu which is set every 25 degrees (300, 325, 350 etc). Also you HAVE to be connected to the app for all functions to work. Again, nonsensical. It works but not sure it’s worth the extra cost.

Not worth the money

Overall the oven does a good job at baking. The cons to the oven are:
In app viewing - hit or miss if it's going to work or not. 9 out of 10 times it doesn't load the camera, just get up off the couch and go check on your food
Timer - three times now, the timer has been set and will continue to beep with no way of turning it off. We had to cut power at the breaker to get it to reset.
Temperature probe isn't accurate
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm very happy we chose this oven

Heats evenly (although preheating is a bit slow), baking and air frying work well, so does cooking with the probe. I'm really especially fond of the extension racks - they roll out and back in so easily, even with a heavy pan on them!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great choice for our family

This is our 2nd Cafe wall oven . After using our 1st Cafe wall oven, we liked it so much that when it was time to replace another wall oven (different manufacturer) we decided it was only smart to get a 2nd unit. The unit we replaced was 25+ years old and provided us with good service over the years but when we couldn't get local service and spare parts easily it was time to change. Having changed out our refrigerator and dishwasher and switched both to Cafe, we decided it was an easy choice to get another CTS90DP2NS1. We love having twice the cooking space and especially are excited to have this for our family holidays. Note we just replaced our Microwave with a new Cafe. Now everything matches and looks great.
