I love this oven!

This oven is beautiful, functional and easy to use with a lot of great features. I love the shelves that slide out so easily and smoothly. I bake a lot and I’ve had great success with it. The only two reasons I didn’t give it five stars is it currently bakes about 15-20 degrees hotter than the set temperature and the temperature settings only allow you to bake in 25 degree increments. There’s no way to change to an actual number in between. It sets at 300, 325, 350, etc. Definitely not a deal breaker but would be a nice to have. I’m working on getting the temperature recalibrated as it’s been this way since I received it 5 months ago. Otherwise? I really do love it and would highly recommend it for people that bake a lot.

GE Cafe Built in Oven

The GE Cafe electric built in oven was installed on 425/25 but I just was able to use on July 4th. Contractors took a while to finish the kitchen. I used the air fry function last night. Air fried chicken breasts and were delicious. I also like the Percision Cooking Function because you do not have to heat up oven first. This oven takes a long time to heat up to temperature and also cool down. Only negative I have right now.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Heats up kitchen

Love the ovens so far. The venting design is different than what I am used to with my previous oven. My kitchen now gets quite warm when I am using the oven, especially when I use them both at the same time. This was not my previous experience.

Beautiful oven with great functionality. The control screen is great, but would suggest things be in a bigger font size, or at least adjustable. Also, I got the black handles, but it also came with the chrome ones anyway. It makes me feel like I spent extra for something I did not use.

Mediocre materials, bad software

Looks pretty. Cooks well. However, the software is badly conceived and the materials cheap and substandard. We ordered the 'black stainless steel' finish. The surface LOOKS like black stainless, but is actually plastic. Same for the handles. The stainless handles are magnetic. The black handles are milled aluminum with a plastic feeling coating - and NOT magnetic.
Worst of all, the controlling software is clumsy. Worse in the advatium oven, but not great here.

Performance perfection

We originally purchased GE Care appliances right after Covid when it was impossible to get them! We were renovating at that time and ordered them very early in the process. We finally finished the project and we were able to use the high performance levels. We love the Air Fry setting and the ability to turn the oven on while returning home with a pizza to heat up. The accuracy and different help menus are amazing and make oven use a dream
