Replacement refrigerator

We purchased the Cafe to replace our 21 year old Kitchenaid. I hope we have as much success with the Cafe. So far, I am very happy. The only change I would have liked, would be to have the door shelves adjustable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Avoid At All Cost

For 8 grand you would think that quality control would be paramount. Nope. Door out of alignment. Handle scarred. replacement handle even worse. Sad. You want to support an American company, but this is what you get, and for 8k! Spend the extra 2 or 3 grand and get a quality product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A no-frills, value for money built-in refrigerator. Good looking, plenty of storage space, and well priced in the built-in segment. We’ve had it for 6 months now and love it!

Bent Frame

I am in the 6th month of trying to get some level of satisfaction on the purchase of this fridge. I am currently on my 2nd unit. Both units had the frames in the upper right corner bent (see pictures). Local factory service blames it on installation issue. I put a straight edge on the frame prior to install and it was bent. Installation guys agreed. Would love to rate this fridge higher because it does work well. It just looks bad.

Finally An Ice Maker That Works

This unit replaces a different brand high end unit which was only three years old with SEVEN service calls only for the unit to be deemed unrepairable. Many different issues. We have had a Cafe range for many years which works great so decided to go with this brand for our new freeze/fridge. It’s only 2 months old but so far I love it. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because there is a tiny flaw on the front of the refrigerator door which in my opinion is not noticeable enough to have the whole unit replaced - it weighs 660 lbs. So far so good! Will update if something changes.

Has all the features & size to meet our needs

We have had our café refrigerator approximately a month and today we are happy with its look and performance. We had a very minor issue that was addressed and corrected immediately by Community Appliance where we purchased frig & GE customer service.
I would recommend this to a friend!
