I recently purchased & installed this oven. I am sorely disappointed because the oven hinge extends beyond the specified dimension. On the website it states that the oven is 29.75" wide, but in fact the lower hinge extends 3/16" past that. In my case, the hinge will interfere with the adjoining pantry door. There is nothing in either the GE specifications nor the installation manual that mention this extending hinge. I can only 1) trim my pantry door, which will create an uneven space compared to the rest of the kitchen, or 2) grind down the hinge itself.
I am dismayed that a company like GE would let this engineering flaw go unnoticed and unspecified. It points to poor quality, and because of this, I would not recommend purchasing GE products in the future. I won't.

I haven’t had an opportunity to use all the features, but I absolutely love having an oven that I can use without stooping over or reaching over a hot oven door. It’s great that you can order a model that accommodates your kitchen orientation. It is handy having the oven app let me know when the preheat is done or the timer is up. I’m looking forward to trying out the temperature probe.

We love it. Good information and a fun sounding timer. Also keeps the grandchild from peeking inside! Can’t believe others don’t offer a door oven that opens to the side.
