Love the oven

Really like how it looks, love the door that swings to the left.. Slide out bottom rack. Even heating. I'm not thrilled with the idea of it being connected to the internet. For us at our age it is not easy to set it up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

love the ease of use and the truly self cleaning surfaces. It heats fast and maintains its temperature during the cooking time. Best of all I can control it all from my phone!

Dead on Arrival

Sadly our oven was dead on arrival. It was installed on December 5. It never worked from the moment we got it. The oven would not respond. Then after waiting a bit, it turned on heated to 190 F and froze. We were not able to turn off the oven or do anything with it. The only way we could turn the oven off when it froze was to flip the breaker on our electrical panel. We called for tech help the day we got it. The troubleshooting ideas did not work. An engineer came out to look at it. The oven did all of the same things to him that it did to us. It took a while to come in, heated to 190, froze, and would not turn off until we flipped the breaker. The engineer said that we need a new motherboard and another part. So from the moment we received our brand new oven, it did not work. I bought a lemon. I bought a brand new unusable oven. GE does not want to install a brand new oven. They want me to keep the broken oven and have it repaired before we ever got to use it. We are not happy customers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good operation, poor wifi smarts.

The product looks great and runs great. Some problems with internet hook up. Diagnostics are inadequate and it needed a strong wifi signal. Switching between cell phone and house wifi was not done well, but finally connected and updated. Smart connection not terribly useful and get phone messages with preheat completion and timer finished, even when standing next to the unit. But as an oven it is great. Also I should be able to change the built in pictures with my own.
I would recommend this to a friend!
