The side opening door is great and works well for the layout of our small kitchen. It was installed very recently and we are still exploring all the features, but the bakes have been very even and a real plus is how quickly it comes to temp when preheating. Very happy so far!

I am 4’9 and requested a right to left door opening on oven and this oven was perfect easy to clean. Is it operate easy to retrieve baked product products I am very happy

Needs software update for reliability

I really like the oven. However, it needs a software update. The current software hangs and the screen becomes unresponsive every couple weeks. To work around the issue the I have to go outside and trip the breaker to the over and force a reboot. I don't want my oven to act like a computer. It should just work. Please fix the softwrae.

Review of GE wall oven with side-opening door

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice looking oven. Love the side opening door - makes it a lot easier and safer to remove food in oven. Would have given this a 5 star had it not been that the oven door alignment is slightly off. This could be due to quality issue with the assembly of the oven door.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We're happy to hear that you're enjoying the swing door on your oven, and we'd like assist with the door alignment. The strike on the unit keeps the door closed during cooking and protrudes from the inside of the oven structure. The strike angle can be adjusted if the door is too difficult or easy to open or close. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really, really like this oven. I was looking for a swing door so I would not have to bend over a pull down oven door. The pull out rack was an unexpected bonus and now I wonder how I managed without one. It did take me awhile to become familiar with the functions, but I am so pleased with my purchase.
