Touchpad is tempermental

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] touchscreen does not work all the time. we had to turn off the breaker and restart the ovens a cople times already. I do like the ability to be able to turn it on via my phone app.

Functions great, looks crooked

Overall I like the oven, it preheats quickly and after the first couple of noisy moments, it is fairly quiet. The ease of use is good and interface is intuitive. The thing that disappoints me is that it is not aligned well. The installation went well but the doors are out of true by 1/4-1/2” so they appear slightly crooked to the critical eye. The installer tried to correct this but I was told it is a manufacturer issue and not something that can be fixed. We opted to keep it as is because the only option would be replacing the entire unit which comes with another hassle of scheduling installation, and not knowing if we would get another defective unit on the next go around. I’ve had this happen with another appliance so I did not want to go that route.

Love all the new features!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just replaced a 17-year old double wall oven with this new Cafe model and I just can't believe how many new features are available. As I have only had it for a couple months, I am still exploring all of its capabilities and look forward to learning more. My only complaint is that the new appliances do not come with user manuals. For older people, such as myself, it is difficult finding all the information on the computer...I just want to be able to refer to a user manual for operational information as well as simple troubleshooting.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A problem child

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, while excited about the double oven, we’ve not been able to use it. We’ve had to have service people at the house twice already and it’s still not totally repaired. Also, the racks that go on the inside are very difficult to get in and out and scratch the side, even though we use the graphite I’m glad it’s under warranty, but I am concerned about the future. Thank you.

Good oven, misaligned doors

This oven works well, cooks fine. I like the camera inside and features. However, if you are purchasing is oven for the aesthetics, I would not recommend it. This product lacks quality control of its “cosmetic” features. Doors are not aligned properly and will rub against each other. Or just be totally off by 1/4 inch plus. GE will tell you these are cosmetic issues and not covered by the warranty. If it works, they really don’t care about anything else. If your doors come, scratched not covered if your doors are completely crooked on the unit doesn’t matter to them.
