I pre-ordered these and have had nothing but problems. 1st the ear wings refuse to stay on and slide off, I've tried all three. 2nd they don't turn off, I've updated them then factory reset, then updated again to no avail. They sound great just can't use them without a hassle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good sound. High quality materials and build. Many nice features. The wireless charger was a pleasant surprise! Only complaint is they can become lose while running. I replaced the ear wings and inserts with the large sizes which helped but didn’t prevent the issue.
