Think I still need to find the right size to fit my ears. Although they're more secure than my old earbuds, I was expecting it to be a little more secure. The sound is about as expected, but I wasn't blown away.
I bought a pair of the T-5's about two years ago and they were really good but I was running on the treadmill and was wiping down with a rag when I knocked the left side off and stepped on it when I was running. So I bought the T-5 II absolutely amazing they are not going no where. I like them so much I bought my wife a pair!
This is my third set of True Wireless and it feels like i finally found the set that works for me. Disclaimer, my ear canals are not the same size My left canal is too large for the medium size bud and too small for the large bud. Previous versions felt like they were falling out. The sports version fits much better and stays in place. With the better fit the sound took a little bit to get used to but I’m very happy with this set.
I really wanted to like these earphones. I'm a Klipsch fan; their speakers, even my tabletop The One are fantastic but quite honestly I feel like these fall flat. To start, the case itself is really attractive in the translucent green however its on the bulky side and given its waterproof nature, you have to have it open to connect it to a power supply. I'm also less a fan of the moisture absorbing beads that are in the top half of the case; they're not silent and I worry that at some point they're either going to collect dirt of somehow fall out. All that said, if you want or need an indestructible case, look no further. Pairing the T5s was fairly straightforward and they fit my ears just fine. Ultimately its all about the sound and while I was prepared to be impressed, ultimately I was let down. First off, I realize that these are not active noise canceling earphones but they do a pretty good job of isolating out environmental noise. When the music starts I feel like the T5s left me wanting more; compared to my AirPod Pros or my Beats Fit Pros, the T5s lacked depth and emphasis; I feel like sonically they were flat and underpowered. I tried the easy to use Klispch app and equalizer but it the end I just couldn't coax the level of sonic performance from them that I was expecting and hoping for. Ultimately this means they were returned. Bottom line is that earphones and listening experiences are highly personal and subjective; these may be perfect for you, they just weren't for me. If you absolutely need the level of waterproofing and weatherproofing that these offer, then maybe you're willing to accept what I perceived as sonic shortfalls. I'll still listen to Klipsch speakers and recommend those, but the T5s just aren't for me.
They're ok... I needed a new set of earbuds for cycling. They sounded alright, but after an hour of wearing them, they started to really hurt my ears. The silicone cases hurt my ears. The transparency mode was nice, but not transparent enough to hear traffic around me. The wind noise was unbearable though. The buttons are stiff, making you push hard to press the buttons and forcing the earbud harder into your ear. They are also a bit bulky. Ended up returning them and purchasing some Jabra Elite 7 Active buds. Much better.
