Love the sound but...

I have had these for a few months now, and having had Klipsch wired ear buds and cans before, I really wanted to love these as much as I had the previous purchases. Unfortunately, that is not the case.
While the sound is awesome, that is only when they work as they should, which is seldom. The biggest issue I have is they randomly disconnect from each other then reconnect, then disconnect again, and it is not just once in a while; it is over and over. From reading blogs and reviews (some on this site), this is a known and frequent issue and has been for a long time. I have done everything others have suggested to include deleting them from my phone and re-pairing, always checking for firmware updates, carrying my phone in the same pocket side as the first paired device (right or left), resetting them to their "new" state, etc. None of this works. I simply walk in these guys 2-5 miles per day, but this has also happened while on plane flights as well.
Any suggestions to fix this would be welcomed, but based on the many other folks with the same/similar issue, I doubt there is anything out there.

Cheaply constructed

Had them for a few months and the plastic piece that hold the ear tips in place cracked and caused the ear tip and a piece of the earbud to be stuck in my ear. I thought I might have to go to the hospital to get it removed but luckily I was able to get it with a pair of tweezers.

Caveat Emptor

Sadly, it is with a heavy heart I write this review for the T5 II TRUE WIRELESS SPORT earbuds. I wanted these earbuds for Christmas, and I was excited to receive them. The packaging showcases pride in their products and the synopsis within the cover was cleverly written.
Unfortunately, all my enthusiasm was short lived. The app, if negative stars were possible, it deserves them. Instructions for pairing the earbuds to a cellular device, within the app, are different than the instruction booklet. The booklet, accompanying the earbuds, displays leaving the earbuds in the case and press the Right earbud 3 times.
The app indicates removing the earbuds from the case and turning them both on. I tried both approaches, and neither helps the app locate, identify, and pair the earbuds.
After nearly a dozen attempts, over half the attempts to pair the earbuds to my flagship Galaxy phone resulted in: "Error - unable to pair/locate", the other half attempts; only 1 earbud at a time would pair. I performed a factory reset (holding the earbud power button for 8 seconds, reinstalled the app, and did a cache partition wipe on the phone.
Sadly, reboots & re-installations did not help. Attempt after attempt the app failed to pair both headphones.
Additionally, after charging for 10 hours, one of the earbuds would not charge past 78%, while the other, when it paired, was a full 100%. When the earbud with 78% would pair, using it for 1-2 min, dropped the charge to 55%. Ultimately, both earbuds paired simultaneously, it took hours, and I have no idea what the fundamental criteria was that yielded success. But, again, 1 earbud would not charge beyond 78%, and would loose ~25% charge within 2 minutes of use.
A firmware update was required. After 15minutes of updating, then "validating", I received and Error : firmware update failed. A repeated firmware update consumed another 15 minutes, and I need to jump through the hoops of additional fruitless pairing activities.
Eventually both earbuds paired, 1 remains at 100% charge, the other 55%. Firmware update completes. System reboots. 1 earbud at 100%, another, 48%. Using the earbuds was a colossal disappointment. They are out of phase, or more accurately, a few millisecond delay between the 2 channels, sounding like and echo, or I am traveling past the sound source.
An attempt to use with the equalizer added insult to injury: pushing the equalizer button, I receive a message: "Unable to use when playback is not enabled". At this point, I have lost my sense of humor.
I do not care how many product endorsements, joint-ventures, or who else puts their logo on the product, if it doesn't work, it is worthless. The app is an abomination. Sadly, this appears to another instance in which a manufacturer has traded product quality for quantity (sales).
