GOTO Scope

I acquired this scope primarily for lunar and planetary viewing. Good quality plossl eyepieces with the package and lightweight tube with short f ratio viewing. I have a similar 110mm f5.7 reflector from the early 80s and the mirror in this model showed better detail. The mount is actually not that bad as most current makers of scopes 'undermount' or cut corners on sturdy mounts. Smooth side to side tracking with the elevation with the handle tightening a little bit different but workable. Finder scope with the red dot is okay. Great on viewing M42 in Orion with Nebulosity even in a light polluted setting. No problem in resolving the trapezium in M42. Should be able to view at least a couple bands on Jupiter with its 4 main moons and ring with gap around Saturn.Obviously great on lunar detail especially around the terminator line. It is a 'fast' ratio scope so low power wide angle field of view is the best with the 26mm plossl.
I would recommend this to a friend!
