Like the sensor was easy to install paired right I to the app . Has a light that comes on at night not sure if it stays on all the time or when the lid is opened . Also reads in 5 % increments . Helps to not run out of pellets when doing a long cook so you don’t lose the temperature

Very easy to install just about anyone can do it. A few screws remove a screen and a plug and your all good.

Sensor seems to work well. Only used it for one cook so far on my Pro 780. Should be included from the factory especially for a “smart” pellet grill. The original and provided screws are too short once you add the sensor. I could only use one screws as the bottom hole none would screw in. Thankfully one screw would go in and tight enough. If not, I would have not been able to install it, even with the included hardware.

If you are going to do a long smoking session, such as a brisket, knowing where your pallets level is is a must have One thing to notice is the instructions to install it could be clear and having the calibration instructions to read before you put it in would be handy as you need an empty hopper to find zero and then you put your hand under the sensor to find 100%
