I've owned a Pavilion for around a month. Although I knew they were unlit, the lack of background lighting for the keyboard is a disappointing loss on an otherwise well specified laptop. However, the greatest disappointment is the short time before it needs recharging: despite the battery showing no errors, using all the power saving facilities, and using the laptop only for web surfing and word processing, the battery life markedly reduces its use. Had the advertised life between charges not been so misleading, I would have selected another model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this laptop as a replacement for my old HP Pavilion as I had been so happy with it and it was nine years old. I haven’t been disappointed! I do only use my laptop for basics but the design was familiar to me and I haven’t yet regretted this purchase.

I am very happy with this laptop so far. Microsoft office 365 free for 1 year. Touchscreen is very handy. Performance is good. Easy setup. Battery lasts well. An absolute bargain in my opinion 👌

I bought this product as I saw it being advertised at a good discounted price and am quite happy with it. Only fly in the ointment is the lack of backlighting of the keyboard which makes it less user friendly in low light conditions but other than that I am delighted with the functionality.
