I bought this TV a week ago. I absolutely love it. I had to exchange a Vizio P- Series Quantum for the Vizio P- Series Quantum X. I essentially bought the wrong TV. Vizio needs to do a better job at making the product package different, even the product package is somewhat similar.

I have had this tv for a few months now and I do really like this TV. That being said it does have some annoying dirty screen effect issue's that bug me. On colorful or dark images its not really noticeable, but on lighter colors like greys its very noticeable. If the background is a neutral color and the image pans you really notice it. Gaming is a big thing I notice it on. I can watch movies and even game on it without seeing it if the background doesn't have a skyline or a light grey background. I have read reviews that have said if you put some hours on it sometimes the DSE can fade, but it hasn't. Almost ready to try to return it but....... Besides that I love the TV. The colors are excellent, the blacks are awesome and the refresh is great, even the Aps are really good. If I'm watching a colorful movie I forget all about the above and love the picture. I actually researched TV's and chose this one before purchasing so it's annoying I got a set with noticeable DSE. The picture setting are all there and pretty much have all the options you would want to tweak it to be exactly how you want it. Honestly, the calibrated mode is very true to life color. I just turned up the brightness a bit since I'm in a well lit room. Some other positives about this tv are the amount of inputs and the remote. This is a very VERY heavy duty remote. If you have a glass coffee table, find something else to set it on, trust me. Its heavy and its made of metal! The remote is very responsive and has a decent range. Overall, I think if you got a set without the DSE you would have one of the best sets out. I on the other hand was not that lucky so I can not rate it as high as I would like. I have looked into getting this replaced or repaired but they want pictures and for some reason the phone camera's do not pick up DSE as well as your eyes do so its hard to show how bad it is, especially when its really bad when the picture is panning, not so much stationary. We replaced a still working top of the line 1080p 3d vizio TV with this one and we do have 2 other Vizio sets. Vizio makes good TV's, we just happen to get one this time with the DSE issue.
