Pest picture for the money

I process all my viewing options through an amazon 4K cube and sound is processed through my surround sound audio system. So all i needed was a great picture, well this is it. It has a lot of additional feature that I’m sure are useful to others. But it has a great picture.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this tv over a month ago. I had a smaller and older Oled. The picture is just as nice on new larger Vizio

The TV and sound bar both CONSATNTLY shut off out of no where. It makes me want to rip the TV out of the wall. I would not recommend this TV in the slightest.

I bought this in April and started having troubles with the sound and internet connections. They sent me a replacement and all is good. Would have been an issue pre COVID, but since I was home anyway- no biggie

The picture on this TV is amazing, making the higher cost worth it. While still costing less than other brands. The CEC settings make switching to and from attached components very easy. Standard HD looks very nice, but 4K HDR content will knock your socks off. I have only had this set a week and am still learning about all it's features, but so far I am very happy with it.

Narrow viewing and too many limitations

Have been living with this set for what will soon be a year. I’ve learned to live with the limitations. First, I shopped with a definite price point. The Vizio was right at the peak of what I had set for a budget. Finally selected the unit based upon reviews which cited picture quality as best in class. Admittedly, the picture can be quite good with a proper signal provided you sit in precisely the right spot for dead center watching, and that’s where the limitations begin. Viewed off-center picture detail, brightness and color drop dramatically. This is not the set for watching the super bowl with all your friends and family. On the plus side, you can set the picture to be quite bright, good for a room with a lot of light. The sound is thin and skews to a dominance of treble tones, rather brittle. You will need at least a quality sound bar. The SmartCast streaming system is a disappointment, too few apps and so-so picture quality pass-through. I’m using the Apple TV streaming box which gives me far more options and superior picture. So what the Vizio represents is a good high quality picture for the price, admittedly limited to a couple of viewers plopped down in the display’s sweet spot, providing you feed it a proper signal and listen with an upgraded sound system.
