always loved Vizio TVs, this one is a little buggy

TV looks amazing, more apps than I'd ever use, but the smart cast is very buggy and I have had to completely unplug the television multiple times since purchasing about a month ago to get the tv to turn on again after it shuts itself down.
otherwise if you avoid using certain features of the television it's quite beautiful and I'm pleased, it's probably just a bug that needs an update

I spent quite a while visiting a host of different TVs, comparing picture, color, brightness, look, feel, features, etc. I don’t have drug lord money, so the 8K 90” units were out. Ultimately, it came down to the series 9 QLED from Samsung and the beautiful P-Series Quantum X both in 75”. The QLED was probably a bit better with pinpoint lights on a dark background. That’s really it. The Vizio absolutely smoked the Samsung when it came to color and brightness. The local dimming of the full array help cheat great blacks by smashing your rods with light in the bright spots. This unit rules in a bright room or for daytime watching.
The colors on the P-Series Quantum X are so rich and vibrant, you can almost feel them. I happened to be watching a sweet little vid on Netflix (easily reachable with the included smart remote) about planet earth and specifically, coral reefs. My hand to God, it was all I could do to keep from throwing rocks at my old TVs. I’m trying to tell you... the color is so good, I felt like one of those old colorblind guys in the videos where his entire family and the guys from his old precinct go in together and buy him those magic color glasses. I was literally pointing at the screen like an idiot shouting, “Blue! Yellow! Magenta!!” while my wife wept tears of joy and my dog looked on quizzically.
The clarity is spot on. The sound is good, but I have a Vizio 5.1 sound bar system that handles the noise. The unit is aesthetically pleasing. Even the packaging is top shelf.
My only warning is this. I did not wall-mount the TV (I know. I know. I’m basically Amish. My home is 135 years old and I’m not drilling into those walls. Do you do plaster work?). The supplied “feet” for the unit sit way out near the edges. I have a 58” TV stand (I know blah blah Amish), and I needed 57.5” for this bad boy.
