Cycle too long

The cycle takes to long to complete - over 3 hours. This product came standard with our new house.

If you just casually close it and don’t pay attention to where you’re pushing it shut and don’t close it properly by putting your hands on each corner on top, the dishwasher turns on. Then you have to stop it and it goes through a drain process even if it doesn’t have any water to drain . It’s truly a pain, and very annoying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
