Decent for the Price

This was a serious upgrade from my last dishwasher and a great price onsale. The only downside is that without a rinse aid, the dishes do not come out clean. Aside from the racks being a little rickety and not as sturdy as my old dishwasher, it does its job.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My contractor put this GE Product in my new home, I am not pleased with this unit. Way too noisy...takes wat too long, and does not dry properly. Would not recommend it

Dishwasher is noisy makes loud buzzing noise about 5 to 10 minutes into cycle

I like how well it cleans the dishes. I don't like how when the door gets shut it turns on the lights to the dishwasher.

This product came installed in my new construction house which I closed on 12/04/2018 and the locking mechanism was made with cheap, ineffective plastic parts which have broken from 16 days of normal daily use. I expected better from a GE product! The dishwasher will not start because of the failed locking mechanism, nor does the owner’s manual contain any remedy for this issue. If only GE would provide their products with quality parts less susceptible to failure they would probably retain loyal customers that expect them to live up to their past reputfor being the best in the business.

Extremely LOUD

This dishwasher was included with our new home. I will probably be yanking it out to replace it. It is so LOUD! To make matters worse, there is no delay; so you can't have it start after you have gone to bed and are asleep.
The "Clean" light turns off as soon as you open the door, thus you do not know if the dishes are clean or dirty later. On other dishwashers that I have owned, the Clean light stayed lit until the door was closed completely after a completed cycle.
The only recommendation I have about this dishwasher is, "Don't buy it!"
