This new dishwasher was in my new build home when the home was purchased in 2021. I am not sure if it is normal for both the top and bottom racks to develop rust and the paint to start coming off the racks after 4 years. In any case, I had to purchase new racks for the dishwasher. I am lucky that they had them in stock. Other than that, it works fine.

I love our dishwasher. It’s quick and loads are complete in one hour with the one hour feature. We’ve had squeaky clean dishes and has enough space.
