Do not buy this appliance. Molds very easily and does not drain well. Does not clean dishes properly and is not easy to clean. 0/10. Less than a year old and falling apart.

Contractor grade garbage

This was installed in a new house we had built as part of an appliance package. 1.5 years later it died. will not light up nothing just died mid cycle. looks brand new still but unfortunately this is typical for GE products. We did not have a choice in upgrading them to another brand or we would have. Out new microwave from GE has a broken handle as well. General warranty is 1 year and home warranty is expired as well. Run away from these low contractor grade appliances

We know the importance of being able to initiate a wash cycle in your dishwasher. To start a cycle, you will need to select the desired cycle (Heavy, Normal, 1-hour, etc.), the preferred wash temperature, and press Start. If your dishwasher does not start after following those steps, service is advised. You can schedule an appointment with a Bodewell technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm

We're happy to see that you are enjoying your new dishwasher. It definitely can take a couple of uses before getting fully comfortable with any new appliance. You can always reference the user manual here if you need to go through the cycles and selections: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--3wSe9zks--/a59b5d15aed1d69ae0bc2b25d1613503520e95e4.pdf
