Don’t buy this!

This dishwasher came with a package in our new home. It has not worked right since day 1. We have to unplug it to get it to reset after every wash. The warranty will cover this, but we shouldn’t have to have a brand new dishwasher repaired. Also does not clean or dry very well. Better off hand washing all our dishes. Stay away from this model. It’s not worth the money!

Only had hooked up and running two days. So far I am pleased with the level of noise and cleaning ability. I will highly recommend using Cascade Crystals (old school). I have used the liquids from other vendors and they do not clean as well as Cascade Crystals. Generic "Green" cleaning supplies will not clean in this GE model. The machine is just temperamental with cleaning supplies. I had similar issues with other brands too, but mainly GE dishwashers. I have GE dishwashers lasting in my rentals 8-9 years. That's very good for rental.
Washes good. Bummed the drying option doesn't dry the dishes very well.

In less than 2 years the dishwasher lower and upper racks began to rust. Now 21/2 years later, pieces of the racks are breaking off. Furthermore, the rust is dusted all over the inside of the bottom of the dishwasher. Never experienced anything like this including apartment dishwashers.

Does not do a great job of cleaning the dishes/cutlery. After cycle is complete, lots of water remains on glasses in the top rack. Also, dishwasher is only 2 months old and it already started to leak. Trim piece inside of machine gave way and water started leaking from bottom of dishwasher. Luckily leak was caught in time before major damage was done

Hello and thank you for choosing GE Appliances and reaching out about your dishwasher. It is disappointing to hear about the poor wash and dry performance and we would appreciate the opportunity to help. First, we recommend making sure the water is at least 120 degrees. You may need to run the sink for a few seconds to warm the water up before starting a cycle. Second, a high quality detergent is important for the best performance. Also, a rinse agent will go along way to help with drying. To address the leak, we recommend taking advantage of the warranty by calling 1-800-432-2737 or online here: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm If you have any additional questions, let us know. - John@GEAppliances
