I’ve used this dishwasher for 2 months now and it does a good job cleaning the dishes, although I do rinse them well before I load. I like that it doesn’t have a locking handle on the exterior and the operating buttons are simple to use. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it doesn’t dry the dishes well. They come out wet and with puddles of water on the bottom of the glasses. I wish it had a “dry heat” selection.
I believe this is the bottom of the line appliance which came with my house In a few years UI'll upgrade to a better quality dishwasher This one does not get the dishes dry-but it does clean them

Hi, Thanks for the review! We're glad you chose GE Appliances and it's a pleasure having your business. We're sorry to hear you're having this issue with your dishwasher. If the detergent pouch is not dissolving, it may be caused by the dispenser being obstructed by dishes or utensils. We suggest repositioning the dishes, so the water from the lower spray arm can flush the detergent cup. You can see this info and more troubleshooting tips here: (Page 20) https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-4000218-1.pdf Hope this helps! -Sylvia@GEA
I am very disappointed in the quality this dishwasher. After the dishes have been washed, and I opened up the door it still very damp inside, that I have to leave it half open to dry out......
