We are glad to hear you feel this dishwasher is easy to use and cleans well. We apologize that you feel this dishwasher is cheap and the rack are flimsy. You can find loading information in the manual on page 11. https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-4000218-1.pdf -- If not loaded correctly then you may get this feeling. Hi there, and thanks for taking the time to reach out to us. We hate to hear you are experiencing issues with poor performance, especially on such a new dishwasher. We know an issue like that would be frustrating and would like to assist.
In order to ensure the best possible wash performance, you may want to make sure that the water is at least 120 degrees F. You can check this at the kitchen sink and may want to run the water for a short time before usage to ensure it's hot enough. Use of a detergent or rinse aid may also help make sure your glasses are fully clean; this will improve the flow off from items and reduce any build up after the cycle is done. Other possible solutions for an issue with wash performance are located here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17452
If you continue to have issues after following these steps, a service appointment may be the best option for you, especially as you're in your warranty period. You can reach our service department at 1-800-432-2737 M – F 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. ET and on weekends from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. ET. If you prefer, you can also schedule online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm
We hope this information helps with getting your dishwasher in great working order, and are happy to welcome you to our GE Appliances Family. Best wishes! -Sarah@GEA
It does it’s job but I like to see status of where it’s at and this doesn’t do it. It’s literally just on and turns off when done.
