Hey there,
We're awfully sorry to hear that your dishwasher is giving you trouble when trying to start it. We can certainly understand how frustrating that is. If your dishwasher continues to give you trouble starting, try disconnecting the power, waiting for about two minutes then restore power. If that does not help, we recommend using your limited warranty to schedule a service visit.
You can schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm
We hope this helps. Stay in touch with us! Mike@GEA
Moved in 3 weeks ago in to our new home with our new GE Dishwasher. First time using it, water was pouring out the bottom of the unit. GE serviceman said the wastewater pump was missing. He ordered a pump, we have received it but now we can’t get a serviceman to show up to install the pump. After 24 days we still have not washed the first liad of dishes.

Brand New (new construction) Dishwasher Not Drying

GE Service Technician said dishwasher was operating "as designed", however dishes are consistently not drying. Increased water temp and tried rinse agent, however these did not help. Was told to open the dishwasher door after drying cycle to allow for air drying.

Greetings,
We're quite sorry to hear that your dishwasher is not drying very well. We can understand how frustrating that is and would like to provide a troubleshooting article.
The dishwasher went dead after 5 days of usage. It looks good but does not do what its supposed to do i.e wash dishes. It cleans really well, when it works. Now, its a showpiece with lot of pain.

Hello there,
We're terribly sorry to hear that the door gasket is coming loose and do understand how irritating that can be. Luckily the door gasket is easily repairable/replaceable and does not require a technician. Check out this article with video instruction.

This dishwasher refuses to start. Not exaggerating I have to open it, close it and hit start about 30 times before it will go.
