Cheap

Very cheap quality flimsy door to the point it feels like it’s going to break every time I close the door. Not many features and disk play looks low quality as well. Exterior displays marks such as prints or spills easily.

Doesn't start easily

Definitely a cheaper version. I originally liked it a lot because it springs closed unless all the way down, but I have to hit the start button often and even still it doesn't always actually start. Plus then it takes forever to finish. It's got a fair amount of room For dirty dishes. And it does clean pretty well. But it's incredibly frustrating to spend hours to get it to clean.

Hi - Thank you for having purchased a new GEA dishwasher and for sharing your first-hand experience using the unit. While we are delighted you are pleased with the appearance and capacity of the unit, we are sorry to hear you are having issues with the Start pad and have concerns with the length of the cycles.
In recent years, there have been changes to federal water and energy efficiency guidelines which means dishwashers use far less water and less energy to run. Consequently, dishwashers now run longer to ensure good wash performance but they use less energy doing so. Your owner's manual describes on pages 5-6 the length of the various cycles and any options you might choose to use -- https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-4000218-2.pdf --
To start the dishwasher, firmly press the center of the Start pad to ensure you're making proper contact. If you continue having difficulty getting the unit to start, we recommend having an authorized GE Appliances service technician check the unit. You may call 1-800-432-2737 to schedule an appointment. We hope you find this helpful. Kind regards - Vikki@GEA
