Dishwasher simple. I can't put utensil basket on door it won't close so it takes to much space off basket to fit more dishes. Front of dishwasher stains easily and it's hard to remove or clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Leaky dishwasher

We purchased our home at the end of May. By mid August our dishwasher started to leak. Fortunately we discovered the leak before we had water damage to our hard wood floors. We requested service from a GE tech, who came out a week later. The tech has been great. He ordered new parts for our washer, but tech services has been so busy, he can’t come back for 2 weeks to make the necessary repairs. We’re not pleased with this purchase
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great cleaning/Needs better buttons

We've been using our new dishwasher for the past 4 week. Cleans very well and things are left with little to none residues. Only complaint is that we need to press the buttons extra hard in order for the dishwasher to operate. Other than that is a great dishwasher.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using this appliance for a year now and it has never caused me any problems. I love and looking forward to recommend them to my fellows so they can also enjoy the greatness of this appliance. I will not exchange it for nothing.

This dishwasher replaced my old GE dishwasher I had for 14 years.
The look is good, clean and sleek but It is missing a couple of features that would be nice like the time of the cycle in minutes. The normal wash cycle runs over 3 hours, which seems very long. Also not sure how much water it’s using.
On my old machine there was a short cycle which was 40 minutes and the normal cycle was probably 1 1/2 hours.

Also I don’t like the closer/ locking mechanism, it doesn’t feel secure and I can’t seem to get rid of the plastic smell inside even after 3 uses. The price was ok and definitely less than other models, but I think the quality is not there. Perhaps I should have paid more and traded up.
I think GE appliances are good. I still have my stove and it works well. I just think this dishwasher was a little cheaply made.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Never has worked right

Have only had the dishwasher for about 2 months and it hasn’t worked right that whole time. Won’t dry the dishes even with the dry boost on high. It stays wet enough that if you run the dishwasher at night and don’t unload them until the next day it starts to grow mold on them. The inside of the door and the side walls stay wet all the time. Have never actually seen them dry even though I don’t even use it anymore since it is such a pain.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
