We've been using this dishwasher for just about 2 years and both racks are heavily rusted and now it keeps tripping the circuit breaker because it is leaking at the heating element and getting the connection wet. I can't tell if the rubber grommets have worn out or if ends of the elemet are broken that should keep it from being pulled through the bottom. Very frustating to be having these issues so quickly out of a GE appliance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not perfect, but has some great features.

I like the 'easy to remove and easy to rinse out' filter very much. My dishes seem to get very clean. I don't like that it takes so long. Seems to take forever for the cycle to finish.

Entry level dishwasher, washes the dishes but doesn’t do the greatest job came with the house we bought, definitely purchasing a higher quality dishwasher

Great features and brand

The only thing I don't like about this dishwasher is that it doesn't dry the dishes fully and I have to dry dishes by hand before I put them away or it leaves spots on everything. Other than that I love it.
