Cheaply made

This dishwasher is cheaply made with plastic inside, rollers come off when loading and unloading, I will be buying another one. This one came with our home package so no choice as to what we got but it’s cheap!

Cheap and flimsy product requires pre-rinsing

Compared to other dishwashers, this one is poor quality. Issues caused me to have three replacements - so far - in my new home - and it’s only been 45 days since I moved. The racks are flimsy and do not pull out smoothly. The bottom rack comes off the track EVERY time it’s pulled out to load. It only washes completely when I pre-rinse the dishes and silverware - a HUGE waste of water. The door is cheap and thin and feels like it’ll bend eventually. Overall, I recommend another brand or major upgrade if you select a GE dishwasher.

Can't handle greasy pans

We've been using this dishwasher for just about 2 years and both racks are heavily rusted and now it keeps tripping the circuit breaker because it is leaking at the heating element and getting the connection wet. I can't tell if the rubber grommets have worn out or if ends of the elemet are broken that should keep it from being pulled through the bottom. Very frustating to be having these issues so quickly out of a GE appliance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
