I’m impressed with the ability to clean dishes without pre-washing them. A few settings to control wash time, drying time, etc. are also great to save energy.
Finiky product. When you press start, half the time it doesn't actually go into cleaning. You have to wait and confirm.

Hello,
Thanks for reviewing your dishwasher. We're sorry to hear that you are not pleased with how the Start function operates. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we'll use your feedback to improve. We have also included some insightful information about operation.
For best operation, press the Cycle/Select Cycle pad for the desired wash cycle. The light next to the Cycle/Select Cycle pad will be lit to indicate which wash cycle has been selected. The cycle may be selected with the door in the open position. The cycle will not start until the Start pad is pressed and the door is closed within 4 seconds.
Thanks again for the review, and if we can help in the future, please let us know. We are more than happy to.
This dishwasher is the cheapest, junkiest most plasticky thing I have ever seen. There is no metal, the door feels like a toy, the dishracks are junk, the wheels are plastic junk, everything about this dishwasher is terrible.
Mine broke while brand new, has not run a single load. GE told me they would have a tech the next day. The tech called me two hours later, told me GE customer service is smoking crack, it's two weeks. Brand new house, brand new dishwasher and it has never worked. Now I have to wait 2 weeks for some idiot to come out and tell me it needs to be replaced by another pile of cheap, Chinese plastic junk

This was a Nightmare every day was either trying to get the machine to work or doing dishes by hand or using Paper Plates or Plastic Utensils.

I have had this dishwasher for 5 months and the experience has been terrible. It came with my new build home so we assumed that a brand new GE dishwasher would last for awhile with no issues but NOPE! We had a samsung dishwasher at our other home and that one has a digital display and was 1000x better.
The issues we’ve been experiencing with this unit: 1.) the door strike or latch is malfunctioning so it takes about 5 minutes just to get the door closed and for the cycle to start properly. This issue also leads to a broken peace of mind knowing that the door can pop open at any time, leaking water everywhere. So I work next to the dishwasher to ensure this doesn't happen. 2.) the unit doesnt dry at all. It just retains the moisture within the unit. If you open iteven a day later the dishes are still soaking wet. We’ve tried every setting to see if the drying process would improve but it does not. 3.) Whichever GE tech installed our unit forgot to latch the back or bottom of the unit so it slides around and makes a lot of noise.
